THE VERY HAIRY ALPHABET is a transmedia concept that will enable young children everywhere to discover and learn the WONDERFUL WORLD OF LETTERS AND LANGUAGES in a truly playful and entertaining way. The 26 x 5 mins TV Series will be complemented and amplified not only by an original HAIRY ALPHABET LEARNING APP but also expanded through analog and digital games and books, and of course a playlist of the VERY HAIRY ALPHABET LEARN-A-LONG SONGS. Our fuzzy little Yeti Monster, NITSO, has recently gotten keen on learning the letters of the alphabet. And at the beginning of every episode, Nitso opens his ABC BOOK to show us a new letter to be learned. But every time the letter suddenly “vanishes” in all sorts of surprising ways. Nitso really wants to find out how the letter looks like and learn its true meaning. But with the letter now missing from his ABC, Nitso has to go SEARCH for the “lost” letter himself. Luckily, MASTER TEBAHPLA, the wisest of all wise men, is always there, READY TO HELP our little curious friend find the lost letter. And with the help of the wise master and lots of MONSTER-OPTIMISTIC persistence, Nitso happily recovers the letter, and together with the audience, learns that a letter might have a very specific sound and design, but can have surprisingly many meanings.
